Carrie Gresh, 21, is doubly happy for she is celebrating the birth of her brother as well as her own son. Moreover, the uncle-nephew pair were born just few minutes apart from each other at the same hospital and were delivered by the same doctor.

Gresh and her mother Theresa Crouse, 39, who reside in the same duplex, came to know of their pregnancy together and on Monday, they even gave birth to their boys almost together.

Crouse and Gresh went into induced labor at the same time, eventually giving birth to Caleb Izus Crouse and Landin Gresh, respectively, within seven minutes of each other, according to The Advocate.

The officials at MedCentral, where the babies were born, said the nursing staff wasn't aware of another case where a mother and daughter gave birth on the same day in the hospital. However, both mothers are even more excited to think of the babies' future together.

"It's going to be interesting seeing both of them grow up and go to school together," said Gresh, who was an only child to Crouse before her newborn brother.

"I think this will be great," Crouse said. "They'll grow up like brothers."
