Beijing, China - A Chinese woman was charged with transporting 15 items of underwear soaked in 3. 5lbs. of heroin. The woman appeared in a Shanghai court Thursday and pleaded innocent, claiming the underwear was planted in her luggage after two men offered her a job and a plane ticket to Shanghai. Wang Zhiqin, 42, from Wuhan, capital of China's central province of Hubei, said in court that she had no idea her pink trunk contained panties and long johns that had been soaked in the drug.

A judge hearing the case of a man who was caught with six eggs from endangered species in his underwear as he was about to board a plane rejected his claim Monday that he was taking the eggs overseas "to surprise his girlfriend. " Wayne Frederick Floyd was flying from an airport in Sydney, Australia, to Bangkok, Thailand, when he was caught with the eggs in November. Police strip-searched him after they detected an abnormal bulge around his groin area during a frisk.

A bomb scare hit a University when two bags containing underwear and cake were discovered with a message that promised of an explosion if opened. Police evacuated Kyushu University's pharmacology department in southern Japan early Tuesday and called in the bomb squad after a staff member found a white paper bag with the warning.
