The tale of a man who can be considered DC's most unlucky bank robber ended when he plead guilty.
On October 14 Michael Donahoe robbed a teller and got away with $2,000 from a downtown bank he robbed. However a witness followed him out of the bank blocked his escape when he tried to get a taxi.
Then the dye pack the zealous teller put in exploded all over Donahoe, a lunchtime crowd eating outside and all over FBI agents having lunch nearby.
The red dye covered agents promptly took the ink covered Donahoe back to the bank, with the red ink all over his hands and clothes. Bank employees identified him as the robber.
In court papers, Donahoe, also admitted to robbing two other downtown banks in September.
