Wilmer Valderrama is all set to host a competition series, "Yo Momma," on MTV starting next year. Wilmer has gained immense popularity by playing Fez on "That '70s Show."
In a statement, Brian Graden, president of MTV entertainment says, "Wilmer is wired into our audience. His humor, style and approachable personality make this a great fit for MTV."
Lois Curren, executive vice president, MTV Series Entertainment, says "Wilmer joins a list of series hosts that includes Ashton Kutcher, P. Diddy, Nick Cannon and many more who have found a home on MTV for their creative, genre-defining ideas."
In the series, Wilmer will visit different neighborhoods to find the smartest trash-talkers. The top two contestants each day will vie for a cash prize and bragging rights. The contestants will also have an opportunity to progress in the tournament-like contest.
