Vandals broke windows of the house and a Mercedes Benz of disgraced British banker Sir Fred Goodwin in Edinburgh, Scotland on Wednesday.
The vandals calling themselves Bank Bosses Are Criminals (BBAC) informed their action to local media organizations through e-mail and warned they will carry out more attacks against banking executives.
"We are angry that rich people like him are paying themselves a huge amount of money, and living in luxury, while ordinary people are made unemployed, destitute and homeless," the BBAC said in the e-mail, according to Daily Mail. "This is a crime. Bank bosses should be jailed. This is just the beginning."
Goodwin, 50, is the former Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) boss blamed for the collapse of the bank in October for losing $35 billion due to exposure of bad debts. He resigned in the same month when the government used $29 billion in taxpayer's money to bail it out from bankruptcy. The bank gave Goodwin a yearly pension of $1 million, eliciting public anger and criticism from Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
