Ahmedbad, India (AHN)-- A vegetable seller in the state of Uttar Pradesh village has developed a two-seater "homemade helicopter."

If the chopper is approved, it will be made available for approximately, $2000. According to the National Innovation Foundation, Mustakeeem Ali from Ratool Village has made the helicopter with help from friends and other produce sellers. Ali is 24 years old.

The 3.5 meter craft, was made using parts form a tractor, scooter and auto rickshaw according NIF official, Anil Gupta.

NIF plans to approach the National Aerospace Laboratories in Bangalore for expert opinion on whether the helicopter is actually airworthy.
