Robbie Williams says he was visited by an alien just after he'd written a song about extraterrestrial beings. The "Angels" singer - who is fascinated by intergalactic beings and goes on UFO spotting camping trips - claims a strange light flew into the Los Angeles recording studio where he was working and then went back out again as he looked on in amazement.

Professional and controversial wrestler Chris "The Skunk" Antal is in a unique match with an unusual opponent - Marlborough City Mayor Nancy Stevens. The two are at odds after the Marlborough Cable Trust decided to take off the air Pro Wrestling Monthly over Antal's loss of a video camera equipment loaned from the station. Stevens is the chairman of the trust.

Warner Bros. Television Group's upcoming website dubbed the "untelevised network" will stream new and classic TV series on the Internet via Facebook, Fancast. com and AOL. Online video network TheWB. com, set for launch on Aug. 27, will feature an original application that will integrate it with Facebook allowing content to flow on the popular social networking site. TheWB. com shows will also be distributed free across the Internet on Comcast Cable's Fancast. com.

Almost all of Ottawa City's 1,100 taxicabs have complied with a law mandating the installation of video cameras in their vehicles. The goal of the requirement is to assist police in criminal investigations of crimes in taxicabs. However, a technical glitch needs to be addressed. The city police do not have the software to allow them to view the videos.

Paris Hilton has released a new video in response to Sen. John McCain's (R-AZ) controversial TV ad mocking her celebrity status. Lounging in a chair in a swimsuit, the hotel-heiress says in the video, "Hey America, I'm Paris Hilton and I'm a celebrity too. Only I'm not from the olden days and I'm not promising change like that other guy. I'm just hot. "
