A new reality TV show will feature 10 cats living behind a New York store window and vying for new owners.

Reuters reports the show will be aired on Animal Planet as well as on the www.MeowMixHouse.com Web site.

Viewers will vote which cat should be voted off each day on the Web site.

The cats will be plucked from shelters nationwide. They will compete for loudest purr, best sleeper, and best mouse catcher.

Cats that are kicked off the show will be adopted into homes.
