A Pakistani man is having a having tough time proving his identity every time he ventures out of his house because of his stark resemblance to Osama bin Laden.
Sher Akbar, who incidentally hails from an Afghan village, Bagh e Metal, an area where U.S. officials believe bin Laden has been hiding, has been arrested twice by Pakistani intelligence agents.
Akbar is not only more than six feet tall but also has the same long beak like nose as bin Laden does. Akbar also falls in the same age group and is also 50 years old like bin Laden.
"We arrested this man as a result of this investigation, but it's not who you might think it is," a senior Pakistani intelligence official told ABC News, providing a photograph to make his point.
Akbar reportedly does not have any connection to bin Laden, but local residents tried to cash in on a $25 million reward based on his resemblance to the terrorist leader. America has announced a reward of $25 million for information leading to bin Laden's arrest.
