Well, it was fun while it lasted for ambitious hunters hoping to fly to an exotic location, nab that monster buck, and fly back home with their trophy antlers. One might think the cost would be only the price of the ticket, as well as the need to tell your hunting story to a few curious onlookers. The truth is, the antlers need a ticket almost as pricy as the riders themselves - $75 dollar per ride - and once June 10th rolls around, that price is going up to $100 on Frontier Airlines. This is a special rule, applicable only to antlers. . . because, let's face it, everyone was tired of antlers riding for free.

Almost 50 people reportedly lost their sight after staring at the sky in hopes of catching a glimpse of the rumored image of the Virgin Mary. Officials of India's Kottayam district reported a total of 48 individuals experiencing the condition, after medical examinations determined that their retinas were burned from staring at the sun. The cases had reportedly been constantly coming in since Friday last week.

A pretzel resembling the Virgin Mary was posted on the online auction site eBay, and bids for the item have surpassed the $1 million mark. The pretzel, posted on the website by owner Michael Fleming, had received a bid of $10,950 Thursday afternoon, and was later on followed by a questionable $1. 1 million by a first-time bidder.

Scientists in Hungary are lost in quandary after a shark in a local aquarium gave birth to a pup without even having contact with a male shark. Staff of the Nyiregyhaza Centre said they were surprised when the seven-year old White-tipped reef shark gave birth to a pup even though the shark never had a male for a company.

After its 5,000 first edition copies sold out, Iranian authorities banned the latest novel by Gabriel Garcia Marquez after they realized its title had been altered. Titled "Memories of My Melancholy Whores", the book was printed in Farsi as "Memories of Melancholy Sweethearts" and was sold out in Iran within three weeks.
