Six-year-old Justin Daniel Junio successfully swam across a six mile channel in the southern Philippines. After three hours and forty six minutes of swimming in Hilutungan Channel, Cebu's boy swimmer reached Malibago, Lapu-Lapu City safe and sound. Justin was accompanied by his trainer in the water while his father Jose watched him from a navy boat that has been trailing him from the beginning of the swim at the Hilutungan Island.

A Texas family is suing Australia's Virgin Mobile phone company over a photo the company used in advertisements on billboards and on the Web. The Dallas family claims use of the photo caused their teenage daughter grief and humiliation. Sixteen-year-old Alison Chang's family claims the photo was taken from a popular Yahoo photo-sharing Web site called Flickr. The family also claims the company failed to credit the photographer. The picture was used as part of a "Are You With Us Or What?" ad campaign.

According to results from an online poll, more tourists are turning their noses up at touring famous sites. In a poll of more than 1,200 adults, on which tourist sites were most disappointing to see, England's Stonehenge garnered the most votes for being the biggest dud - along with being the biggest pile of rubble - on the list of famous tourist sites. Viewed as a "disappointing" pile of big stones in a muddy field next to a busy highway tourists said it was not "enlightening" or "spiritual" and voted it the number one tourist site to avoid seeing.

If you can prove you're still a virgin you can get into a New York City off-Broadway play free. Proof comes at the hands of a hypnotist who the play's producer has hired to screen the people standing in line to see his 90-minute comedy titled "My First Time. "The virgin status check serves as a lead into the play's subject, "which is to get people to talk about their first sexual experience, something that almost any person on the planet has in common, whether in the United States or Rome," said Ken Davenport, 34, according to AP reports.

An Austin man who admitted that he stole a statue of the Virgin Mary and painted it to look like a clown is now expected to receive a suspended jail sentence and be ordered to perform community service. Briceson Bryan pleaded guilty to gross misdemeanor theft on Friday in Mower County District Court after admitting that he stole the statue from Calvary Cemetery on July 29.
