Police are hunting down a man suspected of reprogramming a gas station ATM to dispense four times more money than it should. Surveillance video showed a man using the gas station ATM machine and entering a series of numbers that apparently broke into the machine's security code.

A Kentucky man was sent to jail after he used a parking lot near police headquarters to respond to nature's call. The man was spotted by a trooper who just happened to be walking nearby. <p>As Michael Ray Hunter, 37, was relieving himself in the lot of West Virginia State Police headquarters in South Charleston, he was spotted by state trooper J. S. Crane.

The University of Virginia Tech has hosted a rare viewing of a "corpse flower" in bloom. Hundreds lined up to see the Indonesian Amorphophallus titanum, which blooms only once every few years, and produces a stench which can be smelled over a hundred yards away.

The US Army has denied a proposal to develop a military theme park on a Virginia Army base - a few miles from the nation's capital. The AP reports that a Florida developer wanted to establish a park at Fort Belvoir in addition to plans for a new National Museum of the United States Army scheduled to be built at the base by 2011.
