Three escaped inmates were recaptured by the Australian police after they flagged down an unmarked police car. The News. com. au reports the inmates, ages 19, 20 and 27 allegedly escaped from the Warakirri Correction Center located at Ivanho, New South Wales, Australia.

The worst drought to hit Australia is taking a heavy toll on its farmers not only on their livestocks, but in their bedrooms as well. Reports say the record drought which has hit eastern Australia is forcing women to leave the countryside and head to the cities, with fewer and fewer women for the farmers to date or marry.

London, England (AHN)- A 62-year-old child psychologist has given birth to a boy, becoming the oldest British woman to have a baby. Patti Farrant - known professionally as Patricia Rashbrook - delivered her son, J. J. , by Cesarean section. The baby was conceived after fertility treatments. Farrant has three grown children from a previous marriage. It is the first child for her husband, John, 60, an education management consultant.

An Australian woman who had been taunting police had her day in court on Friday, answering 34 counts of fraud. Jodie Harris, 28, was nicked-named the "Catch Me If You Can Thief," was arrested with over 100 fake identities and wigs after evading police for years.
