Following a successful event in 2005, a New York author is seeking 10 unmarried couples with kids who want to tie the knot on "Marry Your Baby Daddy Day." The event is held by Maryann Reid, a writer and relationship adviser who lives in Brooklyn.
The 2005 event was a huge success with all 10 couples still married and the new event is scheduled to take place Sept. 27, where the contributors would dress up the prospective bride and groom in free designer gowns.
The New York Daily News reports that Reid has also authored a novel "Marry Your Baby Daddy." Reid also has in store other wedding perks for the 10 couples who are selected this year.
However, it is mandatory for the selected couples to attend counseling sessions with a psychologist and meet with Brooklyn pastor who will officiate at the ceremonies.
