A prosthetic leg used by war hero Douglas Bader is being sold at an auction along with 42 pieces of his memorabilia.
Phillip Knapper, from the auction house, said they expect the mementos belonging to the late war hero who became famous for continuing to fly for the RAF despite losing both legs in a plane crash to fetch over $200,000.
Aside from the prosthetic legs, the items include Red Cross parcels sent to Bader in Colditz Castle and his mess bill.
