The aircraft carrier USS Oriskany has been turned into world's largest reef. The famed carrier was rescued by US Navy from the salvage yard after a contract to turn it into scrap metal fell through, reports CNN news.

A bomb lying abandoned at the Khama Beel (a water body) area of Pakundia upazila under Kishoreganj district in Bangladesh was recovered on Thursday. According to sources, the rocket-shaped bomb came into the net of a fisherman while fishing in the water body on Thursday afternoon.

Sexual exploitation of girls below teen age has eaten Liberia's post war society and stands on the country's path to recovery a UK NGO report said on Monday. The report, which Save the Children, a UK based NGO published, said young girls are lured into sex by teachers, policemen, aid workers and U. N. peacekeepers in return for money.
