A man's drinking problem, and religious devotion, have landed him in a Georgia jail. Officials at St. Joseph's Catholic Church reported Stacy Lamar Bradford was coming to church every couple of weeks to drink the holy water.

A man was removed from a church by police Wednesday after drinking the holy water. According to a church office manager, Stacy Lamar Bradford has a history of trespassing at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Athens, Georgia. On October 15, Bradford was arrested at St. Joe's after assaulting the church pastor, breaking a crucifix on the window of a police cruiser.

Rose Mary Cook received a shock when she opened a water bill for $74,000. The city's utility department claimed Cook used 10 million gallons of water last month, charging her $29,787 for water, $43,581 for sewer, plus $893 for municipal tax, according to AP.

A man is arrested by authorities who claim he was interferring, after saving a swimmer caught in swirling river currents. Dave Newman disobeyed repeated orders to leave the water. After rescuing the swimmer, he was charged with interferring with public duties. After Abed Duamni, 35 of Houston, Texas thanked Newman for saving his life in front of the police, he was taken into custody and later released on $2,000 bail.
