The North Carolina Department of Correction has recently allowed a British woman and a death row inmate in Central Prison in Raleigh to get married after the two fell in love by exchanging letters and poems. James Lewis Morgan, a death row inmate and Tracy Cope started out as intimate pen pals by exchanging poetry but soon their love blossomed and they continued dating each other for 4 ˝ years.

Tiro, a yellow cone-shaped robot, was the master of ceremonies at the wedding of one of its designers. Seok Gyeong-jae, an engineer for Hanool Robotics in South Korea, claims it is the first time a robot has acted as a master of ceremonies at a wedding.

A six-year old Egyptian child has died and 286 were poisoned at a wedding on Sunday in Dakahliya, north of Cairo, due to eating tainted veal. A fisherman bought the meat for his son's wedding and served it at the reception, which caused many of those attending the wedding to fall ill, including the bride.

Jason Wilson probably never thought that a petty argument over his insistence to stay out with friends would cost him all his belongings and even his work van. The 24-year-old plasterer has called off his wedding plans after his fiancée and mother of his two children revengefully loaded every single piece of his clothing, except the one he was wearing, into his work van and then rolled it off a ramp in their town's harbor. Even worse, Jason came to know about the incident from none other than his boss, who had been contacted by police over a floating van bearing his company's name.

A Sudanese man, who was forced to marry a goat in February 2006, recently lost his "wife" when she choked on a plastic bag browsing for food scraps in Juba, the capital of South Sudan. The goat Rose gained internationally attention when a man named Charles Tombe was forced to marry her by local elders who caught him in the act of having sex with the goat.
