Marshall County, West Virginia resident Edgar D. Hellar got his nose partially bit and one eye damaged when another man attacked him during a fight at a bar. The deputy present there had to take out his taser gun to subdue Michael Brant Tustin, 34, of Cameron from hurting Hellar more.
Hellar was admitted to the hospital where plastic surgeons grafted his skin to repair his nose. His cornea also was scratched when Tustin tried to stick a finger behind his eye during the fight at the Travelers bar in Marshall County.
According to Associated Press reports, the Marshall County Sheriff's Department charged 34-year-old Tustin with felony malicious assault on Tuesday. No hearing date has been set.
