Prisoners at Monroe County jail caused a wet mess Friday night after they clogged sewage pipes with mattress pieces they had flushed down the toilets. The leakage from pipes thereby caused moderate flooding in the sheriff's department. According to officials, several inmates cut up their mattresses and flushed the pieces down the toilet.
