A Farmington Hills, MI man was killed while saving his pregnant wife and unborn child during a freak accident outside the library. Hong Kong native David Shu-Kin Kwok was run over by the couple's mini van after getting out to assist his pregnant wife who had fallen while trying to get into the vehicle. In his rush, Kwok forgot to put the parking brake on and the vehicle and both he and his wife, Erika Kwok, were struck by the vehicle.

'Black Friday' took a violent turn as over-zealous shoppers trampled a Walmart worker to death in Long Island, NY at 5am. The 34-year-old Queens man died after 'hundreds' of people broke down the doors and flooded the store.

An 8-year-old boy who confessed to shooting to death his father and a man renting a room from his father in Arizona earlier this month, had told authorities he kept a log recording the instances his father and stepmother hit him. According to a search affidavit from a St. Johns, Ariz. Police officer, the boy told Child Protective Services agents that 1,000 spankings was his threshold.

Two men shot and killed each other at a crowded Toys "R" Us store in Palm Desert, Calif. , adding to the nationwide violence that marred the busiest shopping day of the year, known as "Black Friday. "Alejandro Moreno, 39, of Desert Hot Springs, and Juan Meza, 28, of Cathedral City, were found dead at around 11:30 a. m. outside the store.

Wildlife officials in Australia said Sunday that 150 whales stranded on a remote coastline in Tasmania island, died after being battered by strong waves on rocks while rescuers frustratingly tried to save them. Rescuers from the Tasmania state's Parks and Wildlife Service rushed to the remote site at Sandy Cape in an effort to save an estimated 12 whales spotted Saturday injured but still alive. However, the whales have died by Sunday.

Astronauts aboard the International Space Station are celebrating the Thanksgiving celebration feasting on freeze-dried green beans and cornbread dressing. Completing the commemoration is turkey, albeit in more of a deli style.
