Oliver, the white-faced capuchin monkey at zoo in Mississippi has led the officials on a chase after managing to unlock his pen and escape. The Tupelo Buffalo Park and Zoo asked residents Tuesday to help in the recovery of this monkey who escaped at about 8 a.m.

The capuchin monkey is a species of monkey native to South and Central America. Park officials believe that Oscar could have escaped to a nearby country club.

However, officials also say, in a AP report, that Oscar has the ability to "outrun the horses" and his speed can make him difficult to catch.
