A UPS delivery man finds a surprise hidden among his packages. Brian Adams first notices the 9-foot albino python after shifting some boxes while pulling into a parking lot. Initially, he thinks he's looking at a stuffed animal. When he sees scales, however, he decides to call his wife.

A man forgets his wife at an Italian gas station and does not realize it until six hours after he has driven off. The couple, traveling with their four-year-old daughter, were on their way back to their home in Germany when they pulled over for gas in the coastal city of Pesaro.

Officials say, Wim Duisenberg, the former European Central Bank chief who helped create the euro currency, was found dead Sunday, in his swimming pool in southeastern France. He was 70. An autopsy shows Duisenberg drowned after an unspecified cardiac problem. He was found unconscious in the swimming pool at his home in the town of Faucon. Police say attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.

A new marriage ends in tragedy as the groom allegedly throws his bride off of a 200-foot cliff. Police believe that the bride's desire to have the marriage annulled led to her murder. The couple had been married for just two weeks.
