A Mexican politician who suffered a humiliating defeat in Mexico's 2006 presidential election, tried his luck in the over-55s section of the Berlin Marathon, winning the event only to be disqualified later for taking a short cut. Mexican politician Roberto Madrazo, running oddly on a long skintight pants, complemented with a wind breaker, a hat, caught the attention of New York-based marathon photographer Victor Sailer, who alerted race organizers.

Police in Bountiful, Utah have reportedly found nearly 120 items stolen from a cemetery in the backyard of a pregnant, single mother. Bountiful police have been receiving reports of stolen items at their city's cemetery and set up a sting operation to find the thief. The police now estimate that the woman, whose identity has not yet been revealed, has been stealing from the cemetery for over a year. Police found flowers, plant baskets, wind chimes, stuffed animals and coins; all of which are believed to have come from the cemetery.

A couple in England are apparently "hooked" on having children after mother Rayna Warriner has given birth to nine children in nine years - yet still says she feels her family is not "complete. " Rayna, along with her husband, Malcolm, are already looking to conceive their tenth child, even though she just gave birth to her ninth child last month.

A Sheboygan mother is expected to be charged with two counts of misdemeanor child neglect for allegedly leaving her two children in a freezing car for 20 minutes while she went tanning. Police arrested the 27-year-old woman after two people spotted the children, ages 23 months and 10 years, in the car that was locked but not running.
