A fugitive is fatally shot by a deputy after trying to escape from custody, breaking through the window of a patrol car and attempting to commandeer a school bus loaded with children. On Friday, Deven Lepierro was accused of stealing from a Wal-Mart store and deputies later discovered he was a parolee wanted on two felony warrants.

A movie theater in Salt Lake City abruptly pulled the movie, "Brokeback Mountain" from its schedule Friday. The Megaplex at Jordan Commons, which is owned by Utah Jazz owner Larry Miller, posted a message at the ticket window reading: "There has been a change in booking and we will not be showing 'Brokeback Mountain. ' We apologize for any inconvenience. "

A babysitter faces child endangerment charges after authorities find one of two toddlers he was baby-sitting drunk. Deputies investigating a family court case in Suffolk County say they looked through a window and saw Juan Reyes passed out with two children wandering the house.
