A man who claimed that he was a werewolf is facing a number of charges after being arrested for breaking into a woman's apartment. Robert Marsh, 39, a former inmate told police that he was a werewolf and could change shapes at his will.

According to a criminal complaint filed against him, the woman called the police early Thursday and reported that Marsh broke through the deadbolt on her door and grabbed her by the arm. Two men in the home stopped him, it said, according to FDL reporter.com.

The woman reported that Marsh was staying in her apartment from the past few days and that she had allowed him to think he was homeless.

During his stay, Marsh had not slept, was drinking and often incoherent, the complaint said.

Upon his arrest, the woman told the police that Marsh had stated to her that he was a werewolf, had powers and was involved in a witch religion, according to FDL reporter.com.

Marsh had a small amount of marijuana on him when he was arrested, the complaint said.

Marsh faces charges of criminal trespassing, criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana. He has been scheduled for a court hearing on March 14.
