A woman was charged Tuesday with contributing to the delinquency of a minor after being found responsible for posting on the Internet a video of a two-year old child smoking a cigarette.
Authorities said 33-yaer old Sandra Venery, who was apprehended Sunday, posted the video on the popular social networking website MySpace.
A Daily Press article described the video as featuring a child attempting to smoke, while a female adult prompts it to speak profane language. Venery reportedly created the video, which was imitated from television comedy skit.
A search of Venery's home resulted in the discovery of computers and camera equipment, which police believe to have been used by Venery and her husband in creating the video. The items were immediately seized by the police. A family member of the suspect, according to the UPI, forwarded the information to authorities.
Venery is currently being held without bond.
