A husband and wife were called at their workplaces to be told that a woman had driven a sports utility vehicle through their house.
Their main concern was for their two dogs, a boxer and a golden retriever, and were relieved to find them unharmed.
Sharon Braner received a call from the Centreville police at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday to be told that a Ford Explorer had driven through the front of her single-story house and crashed out the back.
Betty Brandyberry, 59, drove across four lanes before driving through the house.
