A 24-year-old woman from Idaho delivered her baby so fast that the newborn ended up in the woman's pants. She had no labor pains and the child is healthy.
The incident took place outside a western Pennsylvania hospital when Rebecca Johnson got out of her car and was still in the parking lot. She gave birth to a healthy 5-pound, 15-ounce son, named Mason Matthew Parkinson on Wednesday.
The child's cord was cut by an emergency room physician in the parking lot and doctors attended to Johnson until she could be taken to Uniontown Hospital. Doctors say both the mother and baby are doing fine.
