On Wednesday, a without-ticket passenger miraculously boarded an air-borne Mexican Airline plane. The incident happened when a 42-year-old woman went into early labor while on a flight from Guadalajara, Mexico to Chicago's O'Hare Airport.
It was just an hour before the Mexicana Airlines plane could do its midnight landing, but this baby didn't seem to wait. Fortunately, one of the woman's co-passengers turned out to be an obstetrician-gynecologist, and helped deliver the baby girl.
The mother was traveling with her husband and two other children to visit relatives in Milwaukee.
Both mother and child were rushed to a nearby Resurrection Medical Center upon landing, and are reported to be in good health.
