On September 18, 2003, Jaime Chilberg was arrested after she attempted to smuggle drugs into the U.S. from Canada.
Legal papers posted on The Smoking Gun detail the events:
The woman was stopped at approximately 12:00 a.m. at The Rainbow Bride Port of Entry in Niagara Falls, New York. During the search, a customs investigator found a small bag, with approximately 46 grams of marijuana, under the front driver's seat of Chilberg's Chevy Tracker.
The inspector promptly patted her down and felt an unusual bulge in her bra area. The inspector asked her to remove her bra from underneath her shirt and noticed a bag hidden within the bra's padding. Inspectors discovered a bag containing 202 ecstasy pills on the right side of her bra and a bag with 200 pills on the left side of her bra.
The inspector asked the woman if she was body-carrying any other items. That's when Chilberg removed a sanitary napkin from her crotch, revealing a third plastic bag within the napkin's padding, containing 552 pills.
The pills, stamped with smiley faces and Bart Simpson logos, had a street value of approximately $24,000.
In January, Chilberg pleaded guilty and was placed on three years of supervised release and ordered to pay a special penalty assessment of $100.
