A Kasas woman files a lawsuit against a Lake Saint Louis Denny's restaurant, claiming workers left cleaning fluid on a toilet seat, causing burns to her buttocks.

The complaint says Kathleen Williams of Leavenworth County had to be taken to the hospital after sitting on the toilet in February 2002. While she didn't see the chemical cleaner on the seat, she did feel it burn as soon as she sat down.

The suit alleges Williams suffered serious and permanent injuries. Her lawyer says she has to take pain medication and wear undergarments specially designed for burn victims.

Williams seeks over $25,000 in damages, alleging restaurant employees were negligent in the use of the chemicals and failed to warn customers of the danger.

Denny's is not commenting on the matter.
