Police in Bountiful, Utah have reportedly found nearly 120 items stolen from a cemetery in the backyard of a pregnant, single mother. Bountiful police have been receiving reports of stolen items at their city's cemetery and set up a sting operation to find the thief.
The police now estimate that the woman, whose identity has not yet been revealed, has been stealing from the cemetery for over a year. Police found flowers, plant baskets, wind chimes, stuffed animals and coins; all of which are believed to have come from the cemetery.
AP reports that the woman has not yet been arrested and her attorney let police search her yard but not the house. She refused to make any statement to police.
Bountiful police will post pictures of the items in her yard and wait for people to claim them before a prosecutor files theft charges.
