A Colorado hiker lost in southern Germany's Bavarian Alps for almost three days used her white bra to signal for help and it led rescuers to the ledge where she was stranded. Jessica Bruinsma, 24, was hiking with a friend near the Austrian border on June 16 when she lost her way due to bad weather and fell to a narrow ledge.

An Italian man was arrested after police said he kidnapped his ex-girlfriend from a pub and took her home, forcing her to wash the dishes and iron clothes. Police said the man dragged the woman out of a pub in Genoa, shoved her into a car and took her home where he threatened her if she didn't do his dishes and ironing.

woman claims her Victoria Secret thong underwear hurt her after a metal clip flew off and hit her eye. She is suing the undergarment giant, saying in a TV interview that the injury caused her "excruciating pain. "In an appearance on NBC's "Today" show, Macrida Patterson, 52, a traffic cop in LA, said the metal clip on the underwear cut her cornea.

Nevada Gov. Jim Gibbons is embroiled in a public divorce, complete with his estranged wife, Dawn, requested the court to open the sealed divorce filing. Dawn Gibbons has accused the governor of carrying an affair with another woman often seen with Jim Gibbon. The governor denied the accusation and maintained the unnamed woman is just his friend.

A woman was arrested after police found her hiding in a man's closet. She'd been living there for a year. Police searched the home of the 57-year-old resident after he saw movement in his home on the security cameras he installed when he noticed food had been missing from his refrigerator.
