Organizers of the video game industry's annual trade show order women manning the booths to cover up.
Reuters reports that nudity, partial nudity, bikini bottom or any sexually explicit or provocative conducts are banned from the E3 Expo.
Violators face up to a $5,000 fine. One woman, who called herself Pauline K, tells Reuters she wore a white shredded tank top with an exposed midriff, short mini skirt and knee-high leggings as she handed out fliers.
She says one model got a warning for showing too much skin, "Apparently her cleavage was a little too distracting."
Entertainment Software Association instituted the decency rules in January.
A warning is issued for the first violation, and a second violation carries a $5,000 fine.
