A cosmetics line called "Looking Good For Jesus" has been pulled from a leading department store in Singapore after Catholic residents protested the marketing gimmick as blasphemous. Reports said the retailing giant Top Shop in the Lion City, which is home to about 4. 4 million Christians, had no choice but to clear its shelves of the products. The makeup line sold items like "Virtuous vanilla" lip balm and a "Get Tight with Christ" hand and body cream, featuring a picture of Jesus Christ between two women.

A woman convicted of murder was given permission to take her infant daughter to prison with her, enabling her to look after the baby during her four-year sentence. Imprisoned for fatally shooting her common-law husband in their Prince George home back in 2006, Lisa Anne Whitford, 37, gave birth to her baby last March, while she was being held in custody.

Local authorities arrested a man who was allegedly driving through town naked. Calls from several female drivers prompted police chief Jeff Tharp to arrest 34-year-old Justin Flora, who authorities say was driving his vehicle without a shirt, pants. . . or anything else. Reports said Flora was pulling up next to female drivers, completely nude, and just staring at them.
