Getting away from their football-mad men, women and children are finding solace during the World Cup from a series of "soft" films.
The AFP reports a number of cinemas in the northwestern city of Banja Luka said they were putting on a special selection of romantic flicks and cartoons to accommodate the World Cup "refugees".
The majority of the men in Banja Luka are passionate fans of Serbia and Montenegro.
Movies to be shown for the women are: "Casanova," a saga of the world's best known lover, a big-screen version Jane Austin's novel "Pride and Prejudice" and "Memoirs of a Geisha".
For the kids there will be a series of cartoons to be provided, including "Ice Age 2".
"We've organized this so that husbands would be able to watch football games at home or in cafe bars without being interrupted," a cinema employee told AFP.
