For 3D animations, it is essential to pay great attention to every small detail,since the appearance need to be as realistic as possible. The way living beings breathe, move, blink and react, the 3D animations must be able to mimic the same. The final product needs a lot of tweaking to make sure there are no deficiencies in the animation. Lastly, the software used for 3D animation can be more costly than the 2D ones as they provide you with additional features and options.
Which one is more suitable?
In 3D modeling, you have the opportunity to look at it from various angles and adjust the lighting and shadows. This option is never available to you if you opt for 2D animation. Thus the major advantage of 3D is the ability to construct real-time characters with whom the audience can relate more easily. On the other hand, despite having fewer angles, 2D can work perfectly well to give the presentation a more sophisticated appearance.Although the 3D animation is being used more frequently, 2D animation is also important at various stages and is still being used in presentations, videos, cartoons and other forms of media. Thus, the suitability of 2D or 3D animation purely depends on the type of product you are going to produce!
