images (89)Samsung recently announced the latest Exynos 5 processor that will power the new Galaxy S IV high-end Smartphone. This is a new chipset that is expected to work better than the previous Exynos 5 dual Chipset.

If you are a Samsung fun then you must be very happy about the developments and everything about the new processor that will consume less power compared to the previous one.

What are the unique features of this Exynos 5 Octa Chipset?

This Exynos 5 Octa Chipset is well equipped with up to 8 processor core of which four of them are Cortex-A 15 processors for very high performances and the other four processors are Cortex-A7 which is of relatively less demanding task and they save the battery power perfectly.

The 8 processor cores actually distribute the whole work amongst themselves to work better. Regardless of their workload, they are always active and that is the way they are designed to make work easier and better.

The new Exynos 5 Octa Chipset will also give a double performance of the 3D of any particular mobile processor that will be using it including the Galaxy note II and Galaxy S III devices.

Reduced Power Consumption through the use of Exynos 5 Octa Chipset

The Exynos 5 Octa Chipset will actually consume relatively less power as compared to the previous Exynos 5 dual Chipset. It will be less by up to 70% and this is a very powerful improvement for the processor and power consumption.
So what causes the power consumption reduction in the two chipsets? There is a new useful technology that makes the current version to consume less power compared to the previous version of the Exynos 5 Chipset.

This Exynos 5 Octa Chipset will be using the ARM’s technology for better performance and to enable it to consume less power.
The Samsung also came up with another kind of display of 10.1 that will also consume less power by up to 25% than the current displays of the same size and resolution. This kind of display gives the pixel density of 300ppi and 2560 X 1600 pixels resolution.

When will this Exynos 5 Octa Chipset be released?

The date of the release for the Exynos 5 Octa Chipset is not yet specified by Samsung. They have not even specified the other devices that will use this kind of Exynos 5 Octa Chipset although it is clear that it will obviously start with the next Galaxy S series.
