Male infertility is very common and is a predominant factor that affects the couple and in case of most childless couples, male infertility hurts them the most. In the case of male infertility, the reasons will be clear and concise but for female infertility, it is more complicated than we think it is. To study and analyze the fertility reasons and the treatments that have done wonder for most people, our team visited many fertility clinics in Chennai and other cities to bring up a concise report.

The causes of male infertility are clear and straightforward. Most of the times, male infertility is caused by the lifestyle they are exposed to. Drinking and smoking paired with diabetes will increase the risk of infertility. Male infertility is predominantly caused by poor sperm quality. But as a couple, it is tricky to handle one person’s infertility.

Infertility dips the self-esteem of couples. Handling medical treatments, uncertainties and emotional ups and downs make couples extremely depressed and they lock themselves in a cocoon of their own. Although it is easier said than done, focus on relaxing, holidaying, planning weekend getaways and working towards reducing your anxiety and depression. Meditation, listening to pleasant music, or just a walk in the mornings and evenings can help you calm down and spark that excitement of planning your pregnancy all over again.

For females, it is very difficult to estimate the reason for infertility. The common or the most said reason for a woman to be infertility is an ovarian cyst. These cysts occur in the outer lining of the uterus which prevents the sperm from entering the uterus to meet the egg. This process of a sperm meeting the egg is called fertilization and the cysts prevent this from happening. Other common and yet complicated reasons for infertility are polycystic ovarian syndrome which is abbreviated as PCOD/PCOS. PCOD is very common and research says that one in five Indian women suffer from PCOD.

To find the other reasons which cause infertility, we visited an IVF clinic in Gurgaon. The doctor there told us a new factor which causes infertility in women. It is endometriosis. This also causes painful period and most women complain about not having a normal period. If you are having a menstrual problem, do not delay it and visit the doctor at the earliest as this might lead to other complications.
