Tata Zica has such impressive features such as a unique and ideally designed body which the company calls ‘expressive and exciting’ and is totally different from Tata’s existing models. This car has stylishly designed grille with a pair of large and unique sweptback headlamps.
According to the company a confident and agile stance, bold sculpted body with sharp lines, new multifaceted Tata emblem and signature hexagonal grill make the Zica rise above the crowd.
Available in both petrol and diesel variants
Tata Zica will come in both petrol and diesel variants with powerful yet fuel efficient engines which can attain a maximum speed of 150 kmph.
The 1199cc, 3-cylinder petrol engine will develop 84 bhp of peak power at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 114 Nm at 3,500 rpm, while the 1047cc, 3-cylinder ‘Revotorq’ diesel engine will develop a maximum power of 69 bhp at 4,000 rpm and a peak torque of 140 Nm at 1,800–3,000 rpm.
Provides more interior space and excellent riding quality
This hatchback from Tata will provide more interior space along with excellent riding quality to compete with other cars in this segment such as the Maruti Suzuki’s Wagon R and Celerio, and Hyundai’s Grand i10. According to experts, this product would definitely change the perception of the Tata Motors.
This car also has several safety features such as 9th generation anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), corner stability control, rear parking sensors with display on infotainment screen and energy absorbing body structure.
Tata Zica will be 3746 mm long, 1647 mm wide, 1535 mm tall with a ground clearance about 170 mm. The wheelbase will be about 2400mm which quite good for a budget car. This car provides an impressive 242 liters of boot space enough to carry loads for a long weekend trip.
