Antonio Brown, WR
With Mike Wallace gone, Brown takes over as Pittsburgh’s top receiver looking to rebound from a 2012 in which he missed three games with a high ankle sprain and finished with 787 receiving yards and 11.9 yards per receptions, well off his 2011 numbers of 1,108 and 16.1. Brown’s average yards per punt return fell from 10.8 to 6.8. Brown did catch five TD passes, including a TD in each of the last four games of the season, up from two in 2011.
Le’Veon Bell, RB

Bell was the 16th pick in the second round of the 2013 draft and the second running back taken.  Bell should have a good chance to become Pittsburgh’s lead back. No Steeler RB gained more than 650 yards or scored more than 2 TDs.  Bell rushed for 25 TDs over his last two seasons at Michigan State.
Ben Roethlisberger, QB
Roethlisberger’s 26 TD passes were tied for his second-highest total and his eight interceptions were his second lowest, but he threw for 3.265 yards after going over 4,000 yards two of the previous three seasons. And he will no longer have Wallace, who caught 26 TD passes the last three seasons, and could start the season without tight end Heath Miller, who is recovering from a torn ACL.  Roethlisberger, now 31, missed three games last season with various injuries and had arthroscopic knee surgery in June.
Emmanuel Sanders, WR
Sanders led the Steelers with 14.2 yards per reception, but finished with 626 yards on 44 receptions and just one TD. In three seasons, Sanders has 94 receptions for 1290 yards and only five TDs. But with Wallace gone and Heath Miller recovering from injury, Sanders will have the opportunity for at a larger role in Pittsburgh’s passing game.
Jonathan Dwyer, RB; Isaac Redman, RB; LaRod Stephens-Howling, RB
If Bell struggles or gets hurt, the Steelers could end up with the sort of running back by committee they had in 2012. Dwyer led the Steelers in rushing with 623 yards, while Redman had 410. Both players had two TDs. Rashard Mendenhall is gone, but Stephens-Howling arrives from Arizona, where he had 357 yards and four TDs.
Heath Miller, TE
Miller had career highs in yardage (816) and TD receptions (8) before suffering a torn ACL in week 16.  When training camp began, there was still no timetable for Miller’s return. It is possible he could open the season on the physically unable to perform list.
