People who have various sexual patterns and those who don’t use condoms are the first to be affected by gonorrhoea and Chlamydia. Both the infections are due to the bacterial infections but the infection causing species are different. Treatment for both the infections differs and even the symptoms are different.

Symptoms of gonorrhoea are not Easily Noticeable

People infected by Gonorrhea never develop noticeable symptoms but it is still contagious. The Gonorrhea symptoms differ in both men and women but men may not develop any type of symptoms even for several weeks. Some never have any symptoms in them at all, but they tend to pass on the infections. In general the gonorrhea symptoms that occur in men that are noticeable are the burning sensation or painful sensation at the time of urination. You will find swelling in the penis or redness will be there in the penis. Testicles will be swollen or may cause pain, sore throat will persist for a long time.

Gonorrhea is different in women, the symptoms in them are also overt and when you get symptoms there are generally associated with other symptoms and it is very difficult to find out sometimes. Gonorrhea symptoms are similar in appearance to the infections caused by the vaginal bacterial infections. But in general the symptoms of gonorrhoea are heavy discharge from the vagina, while urinating there will be pain and burning sensations. They will feel to urinate frequently and will have pain during sexual intercourse. Sometimes they will have pain in the lower abdomen, fever and sore throat also. If these infections are not diagnosed properly and treated on time, they are sure to affect the bloodstreams. This will also lead to the development of rash, heavy fever and also pain in the joints.
