The aggressive rampage of a squirrel in southern Germany finally came to an end on Tuesday after a 72-year-old pensioner killed the creature with his crutch. The squirrel however injured three people during the mayhem.

AP reports that the rodent bit its first victim when it jumped through a living-room window in Passau, on the Austrian border, on Tuesday. The woman shook off the squirrel by running in the street while it was still hanging on by its teeth to her.

The squirrel's second victim was a builder whom the animal bit before running into a nearby garden, where it bit a 72-year-old man who eventually put an end to it by killing the animal.

The dead animal is now being tested for rabies.
