A gambler left with the best jackpot ever from the Resorts Atlantic City casino - a new born baby boy. Nyree Thompson, who was eight months pregnant, went into labor pains at the casino's rest room on Saturday morning and moments later she gave birth to a one-month premature baby.
The 32-year-old woman was aided by four security guards while giving birth. "A guard came over and said, 'Don't push,'" Thompson told AP. "I said, 'Forget you, this baby is coming right now!'"
Thompson named the baby boy Qualeem. Though he weighs a little less than five pounds and is premature, doctors say the baby is doing fine.
Steve Callender, vice president of operations at Resorts said he has seen many people die on the casino floor but this was the first incident of a woman giving birth there.
