City officials in Turin, Italy expect to save about $48,000 this year by using a herd of sheep to trim municipal lawns instead of having gardeners mow the lawns. It's not a new idea; sheep were originally used to keep parks mowed when Europeans invented country parks in the 18th Century.

Cambodian Police Detains Cow For Causing Two Fatal Accidents

The Cambodian police took custody of a cow that caused a fatal traffic accident on Monday, the British media reported on Tuesday. According to Sky News, Pin Doman, the chief of a police station based on the outskirts of Cambodia's capital, Phnom Penh, said he is holding a five-foot tall cow at his precinct after a 66-year-old motorcyclist crashed into the animal and died on Monday.
